Timber!

I spotted this dismembered tree with the art work a week or so ago in Castle Park, Bangor. The trees in the park seem very old, indeed one stump is celebrated as being the remains of a tree under which some general camped for the night in 1689.
It's the end of what seemed at times like an eternal week. Tomorrow, weather permitting, Sophie and I will visit the maritime festival taking place currently in Belfast and probably also try to spend some time at QCon, the board and wargaming conference at Queens University, followed by a late lunch and Honey2 (God give me strength!) at the cinema.
