Adder

I've been out and about at work all week, trudging around a huge conifer plantation near Stranraer. I had to be very careful not to step on one of these guys.

Adder (Vipera berus) Britain's only venomous snake. We were only coming across males which have black zig-zag markings, females are brown and can be much harder to see.

I've back blipped a few more.
