Just made it!

Today was going to be a relaxing day of having a new washing machine delivered by Currys and then a wander up to Calton Hill and capture the fly-past of the Red Arrows over the castle.

Instead it turned into a nightmare resulting in a complaint letter being sent to the CEO of Currys and a dash from my flat near the Botanics to the top of Calton Hill in 14 minutes! It has certainly stimulated me to get fit as I was breathing out of every orifice at the top of the hill!

Unfortunately the Red Arrows came from Leith over the castle instead of the other way as advertised so unfortunately the only shot I got was of their tails and the smoke screen - ah well!
