Rous Head Boat Harbour
Up at dawn again this morning hoping to capture the mood of winter. Huge towering clouds to the south west against a fresh blue sky but just above the ocean horizon inky dark rain clouds. In a few minutes I was huddled down against the rock wall with hundreds of Sooty Terns as the rain spat hard against tarmac and stone. I kept shooting drenched and cold in the hope that something wonderful might be preserved as an image. Shortly after the rain had swept on eastwards inland and the sun shone through the golden curtain. About 100 images over 40 minutes and the light is different in each.
