Eager Craft Through Footless Halls Of Air.

Roaring past my vantage point point on the harbour breakwater, five BAe Hawks of The Red Arrows climb and level-off, leaving the patriotic smoke trail behind before the next phase of their display - the culmination of the first day of Armed Forces Day weekend.

The world-famous RAF display team outdid themselves once again with a spectacular pocket air display to end a day that saw activities centred around a visit to Leith by the Type 23 frigate HMS Portland, docked near Ocean Terminal.
