Here's lookin' at you kid

Blackbird fledgling. Keeping an eye on me as I try and angle the lens through the bush. It's dad wasn't far away, chirping away, ready to draw any predator away from the youngster by making an awful lot of noise and causing a distraction by overflying. BTW it wasn't doing that to me, but I have seen next-door's cat Sooty get that treatment.

I know this little bird first left it's nest nearly two weeks ago, so within the next 7-10 days, it should be looking after itself.
