Hope

I am an aspiring illustrator, in particular an aspiring Children's picture book illustrator (and writer).

I was at a conference recently and got one of my favourite Picture books signed by the author/illustrator... (I nearly wet my pants with the excitement of A. Meeting the author/illustrator and B. getting the book signed... to me!)

The book is called 'A Bit Lost'. It's about a baby owl who gets separated from his mother and... and well, go and buy the book to find out what happens! Take note of the superb style of illustration used.

It's written and illustrated by Chris Haughton. (Irish)

Another favourite writer and illustrator is Chris Judge, who is the talent behind 'The Lonely Beast'. (Also Irish)

It's about a Beast who wants to find other Beasts to hang out with and then.... well, go and buy the book etc!
