Fetch!

Arrived down at my parent's house after a very bumpy 8 hr ferry crossing which I managed to mostly sleep through, followed by a 7 hour drive. It was bright and fine all the way down to Carlisle, but then the heavens opened and it was spray and windscreen wipers on the rest of the way here. Obviously I should have stayed north of the border! Ollie was good as gold in the car all the way here. He just seems to realise there is no point in getting fussed and simply lies down and sleeps. It's quite a shock to the system to drive on motorways, dual carriageways, have 4 lanes of traffic with traffic lights, huge roundabouts and be trying to navigate at the same time, after driving in Orkney! Takes a bit of bravado and a lot of waving in my mirror and mouthing "sorry!" at other road users!

Sister #3's daughter, Milly (or Emily - depending on the day!) spent a fun time throwing the frisbee round my folks garden for Ollie this afternoon. This morning sister #2 and I went to a huge pet supermarket. I was amazed at the enormous range of pet toys, feeds, clothes, leads and collars, bedding, shampoos etc etc etc they had - felt really mean as all I bought Ollie a new chew and frisbee, but I could see how you could get completely carried away and spend a fortune!
