Roman gate

This is my friends Katie and Laura walking through Balkerne Gate in Colchester, I walk through it most days on my lunchtime route into town but have only just learnt from this site that the gate is nearly 2000 years old! and indeed the Hole In The Wall pub has been there for hundreds of years!

I did learn about the Roman heritage in primary school but using it for blip is giving me a whole fresh appreciation for it!!
