Open Day

The University is holding an Open Day today and the whole place is filled with A-level students and their parents. Everwhere I wandered with my trusty fatty-lens, there was an atmosphere of excitement/confusion/wonder and in a few parents' cases, a smidgen of boredom ;-)

As someone who's been behind the walls of academia for the last, er - few years, it's easy to forget how overwhelming and just, well - big they can be when you've never been to one before.

Anyway, I found these three lads quite endearing as they sat together in silence, pouring over their assorted literature.

As always with these Open Days, I ended up remembering my own experiences of choosing where to go and what to do and wondering if, given the chance, I'd make the same decisions...
