Dean bridge

At least today's one is sunny. I took this because the sun was roasting me, and we were sitting on the bridge for some time. I hope this is a better photo than the last one, and hopefully shows the height better.

A few centuries back (another hazy history lesson) a man fell off the bridge, and was spotted from someone below. (I could say dates and names but would be lying) he landed, and the man that spotted him rushed to his aid. The jumping man stood up, brushed himself down, and was completely unharmed, assuring the other man that he didn't need a doctor. He was legendary, apparently.

I love the view though.

It's hubby's birthday today. I almost forgot. Thankfully I saw the pile of envelopes on the mantelpiece, or that would have been disastrous. Now away to buy him a cake.
