Documentaries

Went to see six short documentary films at the George Square Theatre in the EIFF this afternoon - all under the auspices of the SDI (Scottish Documentary Institute) as part of their Bridging The Gap scheme. Afterwards took some pictures of some of the people involved. This is the director of 'Jimmy', Martin Smith (second from the left), who made a film about one day in the life of Jimmy McIntosh MBE who has campaigned for disabled rights since 1972. With Jimmy there next to him. An inspirational figure, movingly portrayed in Martin's short film.
