Update on The Lodge which was sold at auction recently:- Despite being no more than four walls (cracked) which will cost a fortune to restore within the limitations of a Grade II listed building, it was sold for £168,000. The purchaser, a builder, plans to live in a caravan in the grounds while he restores it. The seller, the council, are laughing all the way to the bank!!
