Euro

The prime ministers of the EU countries are having a two-day summit in Brussels today and tomorrow. Our apartment building is next to the building where they always meet and every time there is a summit, the whole neigbourhood is on lockdown with police everywhere.

The most important topic that the EU leaders are discussing is of course the problems in Greece and the effects on the Euro. Therefore, I took a shot of this statue today. It represents the Euro and is located next to the entrance of the European Parliament. I made it look a bit misty, to represent the difficult times that the Euro is currently in.
