Chickens

Jeri (Rainy Day in Oregon) and I both need the same knee surgery, and we're too chicken to schedule it. I've been putting mine off for about 5 years now. It flares up, then it goes away when things shift around a bit and the torn spot relocates.

Any advice, Blippers?

BTW, the local zoning board totally shafted us last night. They ignored the written bylaws and decided to support change rather than being conservative, as is their charter. The neighboring farm now has permission to convert to a wedding venue and banquet facility, with live music and large events allowed up to 48 times a year. The farm owner is an heiress with more money than the whole town put together. She is tired of playing farmer so now she wants to play hotel, in our quiet country residential neighborhood. I am sick with distress.
