Lesser spotted

More often seen in pairs. This suddenly shy specimen of the daughter variety pauses for a moment on her journey back to the nest. Note the distinctive "sock" markings. What contemplations could she be considering? Surely she can't stay in hiding forever. With patience we may yet get a glimpse of this beauty in full uninhibited flight.

Or we may have to send in one of the younger son variety to flush her out.
