The poppyfield

I was driving towards Ross on Wye in Herefordshire when I saw this dramatic field of poppies.

As a true Blipper, I pulled the car over into the nearest space (which happened to be a bus stop and I was facing the wrong way). I tried to look innocent and intent and the people waiting for the bus just smiled at me.

This photo is as it came off the camera, apart from a slight crop

the farmer was less keen on me taking this polytunnel photo

Polytunnels may be good for the economy, but they do nothing for our green and pleasant land.
