Centre Court

As some of you will know from yesterday's blip the OM and I went to Wimbledon today.

The weather was not great but it stayed dry enough for us to look around. Unfortunately, rain stopped play on all but the Centre Court, which luckily is where we were. I thought you might like to see what Centre Court looks like with its roof on so here it is.

The weather cleared up by about 3.30pm and the matches were able to start. They did eventually take the roof back on Centre Court, it really is very impressive.

Anyway, we saw Venus Williams beat Kimiko Date-Krumm, Rafael Nadal beat Ryan Sweeting and Andy Roddick beat Victor Hanescu.

Of course the day would not be complete without the obligatory strawberries & cream and a glass of Pimms.

Had a fabulous day and am now very tired.
