Kennel Cough

Today was a busy day and it all happened. The highlight must have been Tosh's annual service visit to the vet. He's really good with all the inspections and jabs except kennel cough. This involves squirting the stuff up the dogs nose. He doesn't even like getting his face wet. In the end it took three of us. Me holding him down, a nurse with a blanket over his head and eyes, and the vet holding his head an putting the syringe up his nose. I've been through this before. I guess the vet had too because when she saw 27kg of fit looking Bordie Collie come through the door she suggested we do the kennel cough first, before he got excited. When I got him home he just flopped in his chair like nothing had happened.
