Down and Out

Looking down Dundas Street and out of the city to Fife. One of the top reasons Edinburgh folks love Edinburgh is that you never tire of looking at Edinburgh - and if you do, you can see right out of Edinburgh. Here's the view down Dundas Street, where I cycle or walk every day, with the beautiful view over to Burntisland in Fife, 5 miles or so away across the Forth River.

I'm not a big Yoko Ono fan, but I love this, which I think of whenever I'm stopped short by a scene like this:

I had a relatively very relaxed day, somehow achieving a fair bit despite the lack of urgency. Less hurry, more haste as the old saying goes.

I rode home very un-hurriedly, enjoying the peaceful evening. Tomorrow it's off to North Berwick first thing and then to Edinburgh again.
