Sadly, yesterday I missed out on some wonderful vintage Pan Macmillan paperbacks which are usually very old school pulp fiction books.

So, today I got hold of this. Apparently, Eleanor Hibbert AKA Victoria Holt wrote in the style of Georgette Heyer but in a more up-to-date style for the 1960's. For now it shall look decorative on the shelf.
