Laying out the red carpet

I love going to Sport Park where my main office is at Loughborough University - it is the home to several national governing bodies of sport including disability sport - tomorrow is the official opening for the building with 400 days to go to the start of the London Olympics :)
Sebastian - Lord Coe and Tom Daly will be at the event along with government Ministers ... so it amused me today amongst the hub-bub of activity that the normally grey gravel area had been transformed into a 'red carpet' of glass chippings - don't think it will easy to walk on though!
