Macro based tragedy

Two days ago I dropped my camera, complete with macro lens and flashgun. Everything seemed ok - miraculously - but on closer examination, the macro has suffered a bit of 'separation'. That is, part of it seems to have separated from another part. It does still work but I'm SO cross with myself.

This was the first of three clumsy accidents, it turns out, although the last two only involved a punnet of blueberries and a jar of pegs. Yes, a jar of pegs. Don't ask me why there was a jar of pegs in my office.

I'm just going to sit down very quietly for a while.
