I think I prefer backblips, I always seem to just remember the good stuff. Today was ok, I was at school pretending to look busy. But tonight everything was rubbish. Felt sick, big fight with L, feel sicker. It was all about going back home in the summer. Tried to book my tickets, the websites down. Aaaaahh!

Story behind the blip. In Hungary they have name days and this was my present from my department on my first ever name day. I've never been very good at houseplants. Not that I have had many, mostly just herbs but they all died. This has been going strong for 18 months now! It's a lot bigger than it was, should be bigger but unfortunately it has fallen off the windowsill a few times and had a bit of window burn (is that a real thing!?). The new growth always makes me smile though, it's so shiny and a dark green. Anyway, it had flowers when I got it, but has never flowered since until a couple of weeks ago. I'm a bit worried it's a little confused about the time of year. If there were flowers in November shouldn't it wait till November? I like the way you can see the glow from the setting sun behind it.
