The face in the window

I found this broken church window quite eerie.

To me it is a face, distressed, contorted, terrifying looking back at me. This photograph was taken in the Church of St George, Lycabettus Hill, Athens.To others a religious icon perhaps.

It was a wonderful church, and a clear morning with a great view. While in the church an American lady kept getting very excited about her new "lens baby" and the effects she was getting. She felt that I was a fellow "camera freak", and wanted to share her experiences with me.

My reaction............ not another toy to carry around!
