wander, stumble, wonder

As I wandered outside, collecting and stacking firewood, thunking my head on a beams and getting blackberry stucked, I also paused to photograph the birdies and the cat. And here's one of a birdy in a tree. A little similar to another from a month or so ago, but the best of the bunch.

I appear to have one of those colds that doesn't really have visible symptoms - a tight throat, aching jaw and and that's about it. It was considered vital then to spend my morning watching some tv and eating baked beans on toast. Vital.

But it's been a productive day in its own way, I've done the wood, made anzac biscuits and lamingtons, sent off some photos for printing, and updated my diary to reflect the reality of my upcoming busy week. Yesterday I was rejected for the job I was applying for last month, so today I organised a meeting about next year's other option - more study. I'll admit that makes me quite excited. Also makes the likelihood of finding time to travel greater, theoretically.

So that's it folks. Until tomorrow, I'll see you again then, although it's going to be a busy day with setting up an Red Cross exhibition (Mawson Place Pavilion, Even Wars Have Laws, Fri-Sun, come along!), attending the opening, having lunch with a friend who's moving to England soon, and then dinner with a bunch of friends from uni. Wahooligans! :)
