Moving Day

These fellas were busy building their nests at the Kalamath Basin Wildlife Refuge when we were there. I am not sure what the bird is, but they were hard at it.

The highlight of the day was seeing hundreds of Yellow Headed Blackbirds. Unfortunately none were close enough to get a good shot. We saw thousands of birds in a short time. Many ducks, terns, Red-winged and yellow-headed blackfirds and white pelicans.

It was a great couple of hours spent with my dad and brother.
