Happy First Day of Summer

...and the weather here in the Pacific Northwest was certainly at it's best...in the low 80's, beautiful fluffy clouds in the bright blue sky and it's the longest day of the year! We had quite the successful/fun day as we started the morning off helping to get the two oldest grands to school/camp for the day, then off to take the written test for our new Oregon Driver's Licenses (yay...we both passed!!) and this evening our son and daughter-in-law invited us to come have dinner with them. So of course we hopped on the local bus and streetcar and made our way to their condo downtown. From there it was a nice walk to the restaurant where we all enjoyed some yummy food and some of their beer samples.

Thanks to my guest blipper tonight...my husband. Unfortunately I feel a summer cold coming on (my son is on the tail-end of one) and hopefully didn't infect everyone around me.
