Malamatina Retsina

Malamatina Retsina is a Greek resinated white wine with a tradition going back for at least 2000 years. Its unique flavor is said to have originated from the practice of sealing wine vessels, particularly amphorae, with pine resin in ancient times. The addition of a small amount of pine resin during fermentation provides the characteristic retsina flavour.
