Great Nanna!
Oh what a lovely day I have had for a puppy like me.
Mum didn't tell me what was happening. So this morning, when she put me in the car after my breakfast, I thought we were going somewhere for my morning walk. Well, I was in the boot of the car for a very long time, I popped my head over the seat once to look at mum and find out what was going on but she just said "be patient Lily"
Then finally she let me out and whoooooppppppeeeeee! We were at Marmas house for the day. I jumped right out of the car and ran to the front door, wagging my tail and waiting to go in. I was sooooo excited.
Then the day just got better and better. I had my morning walk along the river, then we went to visit Great Nanna. Here she is in the photo. Do you know that Great Nanna is VERY VERY OLD, much older than me. She is 95 yes 95 years old!
She is very funny. She kept saying to mum "whats his name again?". I knew that mum should have put my girlie bandana on. I wanted to but she forgot to take it. Great Nanna couldn't remember mum's name either. Mum said that is what happens when you get old sometimes. I wonder why mum can still remember my name then, because she is really old too ;-)
In the afternoon, WOWEEEE we went to the BEACH!! Yipppeeeee! We had to go through a long dark tunnel through the cliffs to the beach. It is called Ness Cove. There was hardly anyone there and I had a real good run, dig and SWIM with my swimming toy :-) Then, I decided that I wanted to rip out the squeaker in the swimming toy, so I sucked out all the stuffing, hee hee, and it wooooooshed away up the beach in the wind! Mum couldn't catch it. It was very funny.
We had a lovely walk along Shaldon, looking back at Teignmouth, which is where we are going to live once our house sells here. Mum took lots of pictures. If you would like to see them click here!
I have been showing off my homework to Marma, she was very impressed I think. She said to mum that I am a credit to her :-) but then I decided I didn't want to play the recall homework so mum's face lost its glow of pride then, hee hee
I can't beleive that THE HAND made spotlight yesterday! You see, I told you, it is a VERY powerful HAND ;-) Thank you so much to everyone for putting us there again. WOW!
I am really quite exhausted now. Time for a snuggle on the furry beanbag I think.
Bye for now
