riding lesson

Took a lot of pictures of Ginny's dressage lesson on Dan (most of them straightforward snaps, but I had fun processing this slightly; also it was midday on raised sand arena, was playing with exposure -- tough!).

She is a very experienced distance rider, with numerous 100 milers under her belt, many successes. Now in her late 60s, she has had enough accidents out on the road to not want to be doing distance competitions any more. Instead she has taken up learning dressage on her incredible Morgan horse.

I haven't ridden for a while, gave it up after retiring my horse a few years ago. Instead began training and competing the dogs in agility. Today it looked like fun...
