Drookit ...

Its not just the dugs that are drookit today!

Molly rolled in something very smelly while she was out on her walk. She went under the shower, as on a previous occasion: here and here. She was perfectly behaved in the shower, no struggling or complaints. But after it, she lay in the back bedroom and would not speak to us.

We found a substantial leak coming into the conservatory. It was caused by a blocked gutter - so in the midst of the heavy rain, we had to get out the ladders and clear the offending leaves. That left us both soaking wet as well!

Jess, meanwhile, had been sheltering in the garage, out of the rain. But as soon as we started to work with the ladders, she ran down to the far end of the garden and sat there until we had finished.

So by the end of the session, we were all drookit!
