Crossing The Equator

Well I had to do one touristy thing on my borneo trip; so I stopped for a snap at the Equator view point, only to find the equator was closed!

Luckily, the local kids explained it was OK to walk round the locked gate. 10 minutes of grinning incomprehension and hilarity was then had as we pointed out where we each came from on the less than interactive visitor centre "globe"; particularly when they found that the UK (along with Spain, Iceland and all of Scandinavia) was wiped off the Indonesian map; they take global warming seriously in these parts!
