Scrabble

Friday 17: Day 1 of our adventure to Mt Field. This is an annual retreat into the land of gas lamps and stoves, no technology and no running hot water. It's a retreat from the land of exams, facebook, and all those other pressures of the world. It's an adventure into the world of scrabble, snow, and endless books, knitting and chocolate. This year we were very even with our game playing, with one game of scrabble, sequence, pictionary (which Erica and I lost horrendously. Have you ever tried to draw 'hallucinate'?), several games of billionaire and an all evening jenga/deep conversation session. The snow was a little icy, it rained and was windy, but the fire was warm, the (cheese then chocolate) fondues were good, as the company was much fun.
