An exciting day for Amelie - she got to meet her baby cousins, Kaydi and Freya, for the first time. They were born at 28 weeks on the 28th January and spent a long time in hospital before they were ready to come home a few months ago. And this was our first visit to see them at home! They are around about 2 months old, corrected age and weigh roughly what Amelie did when she was born. They are very alert and oh so tiny and delicate, but perfect.

Despite the fact that this was a big day for them all, Amelie was not that interested. She went over to have a look at them, and repeatedly pointed at them but spent most of the day playing in the garden. This is the only picture I have of the three of them! Amelie didn't like it one bit when Daddy held Freya. There was proper lip curling upset. She didn't seem to mind me holding them at all though - we think maybe its because she has seen me with lots of other children and I'm always pretending her dolls are babies and holding them. Mummies do things like that, Daddies apparently not - Daddy is just for Amelie!

She was exhausted by the end of the day from all of our outdoor play and the excitment of having lots of people around.
