Melbourne Gaol
This is me in a mock up of Ned Kelly's armour at the Melbourne Gaol. We spent hours there that day. They Gaol itself is only supposed to take an hour to see but we spent about 4 hours wandering from cell to cell, reading about various inmates and watching a play about the notorious Kelly family.
We also went next door to the city's watch house, which used to be the holding cells for those who were about to appear ion court or just needed to be kept in a cell to sober up. We we treated like prisoners, searched, shouted at and locked in a crammed cell.
