Fallen branches!

Spence and I played around this morning and did a few jobs, then we borrowed a trailer and drove into Ringwood to pick up the wardrobes and linen cupboard for the Traralgon house. We came home, made a cake and surveyed the damage from the windy and wild weather of last night!

It was really windy, according to our weather station in the backyard we had gusts of up to 177 km/h (109mph)! The power went out a few times during the night and when we woke up and looked out into the back yard there were quite a few branches that had snapped off the gum tree! One of them was huge and made up the centre of the tree! I will have to get the chainsaw out and chop it up!
