Amanda's Graduation

Today was a big event. My oldest niece, Amanda, graduated from high school (on Nana's birthday). Grandpa Gary came over to babysit and I headed out of town with my mom to attend her graduation. Next month she'll be 18 years old and it seems like just yesterday I was holding her as a newborn at the hospital. It was a very proud night for all of us who saw her receive her Valedictorian ribbon and her diploma. She has had an outstanding high school career with a GPA of 4.3 much of the time. She has worked so hard, but it ready to move on with the next chapter in her life....the nursing program. Way to go grad!
