Macro: Wingless? (Small Pearl-bordered Fritillary)

I was taking a picture of this butterfly to get an image of it's lower side, when it turned it's face to the camera and closed the wings just after I pressed the button and before my slow digicam reacted. This was the result - a wingless butterfly. However, I liked the picture so here it is.
