Bursting Bud

Busy day today. I got the Canary Wharf gallery posted on Calvin Palmer Photography, it's under Latest Gallery. Feel free to take a gander. I then wrote a blog on Tea With Calvin, documenting the problems I had getting the gallery up and running.

All of that activity, given a temperature of 96 degrees, left me quite exhausted. :-) But mindful of the fact that I needed to get a blip for today, I happened to spot this Canna Lily beginning to come into bloom.

I was going to go with a straight colour shot but decided that I might be more effective if the background was B&W. You, the jury, can decide whether or not I made the correct decision.
