The culture club

Our neighbours invited us round theirs for a bbq this afternoon. Mrs B was unwell last night so spent most of the day in bed. The kids and I went round for tea, pudding and a bit of culture. Our neighbours are both painters and also an art historian. Most of their friends are painters, lecturers, musicians, sculptors - a right bunch of eclectic beings. The kids loved it - Miss B loved exercising her new found social skills, while master B found great delight in scaring the family dog.

I loved hanging out with the kids, they are such good company amongst company.
