Unexpected!

This afternoon, I contemplated another Blip and in looking at yesterday's photos I took, I decided the beautiful, yet humble Calendula was a suitable subject for today.

I had fallen into a heap, face first, on the couch sometime this afternoon and slept like a baby. When I awakened, I took the camera....seems the Nikon is still a bit hefty in my fragile? state...and went to the garden in front of the house.

Kneeling down, I carefully decided on an angle for my flower. Finally content, I took my photo. I was so amazed by the beautiful color that I bent low and smelled the flower. Well, there was no scent, but there was a surprise!

I reviewed my photo and was so happy to see that the white spider that nearly was snorted up my nose (argh!) was indeed captured in my photo! So, my pretty Calendula flower, along with one amazing white spider!
