Cartagena

Day out with Barb and Roy today to the beautiful town of Cartagena.
Spanning back a few thousand years to the Romans, it has a stunning natural harbour where you can take a tour on a boat and learn all about the area.
After the boat trip was a visit to the Roman museum and amphitheatre....superb architecture which took years to uncover and which is smack in the middle of an urbanisation. Really strange walking round looking at ancient Roman building work and seeing modern blocks of flats backing on to them.
