Torwood Cottage, Angus

Completely hidden from view now until you are within metres of it, not only by trees, but also by ivy clambering over it, the ruins of Torwood Cottage are astounding to behold. With bay windows on either side and Grecian pillars around the doorway, it's remains blast the traditional idea of "cottage" into oblivion. The ubiquitous remnants of old "But n Ben's" and crofts are poor relations compared to this beauty.
