A different perspective 1

This is my new theme of 12 pictures. I will call it "A different perspective" and you can join if you want to.

Recently I've been making a big effort to see things from a different perspective in order to get to terms with my ups and downs. Trying to get rid off those really annoying negative thoughts and get on with my life in a more positive way when things are not the best is not particularly easy and it's taking a lot of my energy just now. But I will get there, at some point!

So, here is a different perspective of the Scott Monument in Princes Street in Edinburgh, a Victorian Gothic monument 200 feet 6 inches high that commemorates Sir Walter Scott. To reach the top you have to go up 287 steps. When I did it a few years ago, I got a wee certificate of achievement. I still have it. When you reach the top, you have an amazing view of the city of Edinburgh.

Nothing of much interest to report today apart from a really strange message I got on my mobile phone first thing in the morning. The guy who sent it got obviously the wrong number. It goes like this: "Alright mats how are you? Long time! arnoob said you'd be able to sort me out with some bud or give a num or something...? Don't know anyone in twells these days. Looking to pick up q or more tues or wed. cheers, harris." According to a friend of mine who deciphered the message for me, someone staying in Turnbridge Wells for the first time is trying to get some illegal substances from someone. I just replied saying he got the wrong number! Hahahaha.

Busy day at work, but with the good news I finished a bit earlier than I expected! :)
