Lone dog on the canal from Liverpool to Leeds??

No - there were four of us and 3 dogs going from Bingley to Shipley on the Leeds/Liverpool canal as part of our morning walk today.

It was a beautiful morning and it was good crossing over the bridge to the canal over the streaming traffic on the bypass knowing we did not have to join in the rat race.

This picture makes it look idyllically quiet but what we hadn't expected was this is the M1 for cycle commuters at this time in the morning and we were constantly 'ting tinged' to get out of the way. I expect they found us as much of a nuisance as we found them!

Later, after a quick shower I went to my friends for coffee and then on to the vintage cafe I visited last week and could happily have used another blip from there.

We finished the day by going to a new wool shop in Saltaire - bliss!

What a wonderful day.
