Sunday 19th June 2011 - More than words!

I wanted to start this journal because I thought pictures could say so much more than words. So to start it on Father's Day seemed somewhat ironic when the photo ended up being the card I sent to my father which is all about words.

My mother has always been big on the verses having real meaning, and that has obviously passed down to me, but to find cards with proper verses these days ain't easy, but I got there in the end. The card, and my mothers which is also in the photo, talks about respect, love and all the things you would expect.

However, I can honestly say that no words or pictures could really communicate how I feel about my mother and father. I have a lot to be grateful for, they've given me so much love, support and guidance. They've been there during major illness and at a time when I had very dark thoughts, but they gave me something to fight for and I wouldn't be here now if it wasn't for them. So in the end for this blip neither a photo or words could express my true feelings.

As this is my first Blip and because of the registration email getting lost in my Spam mail, I was somewhat limited in the photos that I took yesterday. I will look to get better over time (more on that on the 20th).
