.........No, we're Geese!!!

Very successful day at RSPB Old Moor. The sun shone, the staff were as friendly as ever and the wildlife allowed itself to be watched and photographed.

I saw 40 different birds, including two Year Ticks, taking me to 152. One of them, Black-necked Grebe, was a Life Tick. There was a Meadow Brown flitting about, which was my 16th butterfly species of the year. Also I managed to photograph Four Spotted Chaser dragonflies and Common Blue Damselflies.
