One that didn't get away

Steak and Chips for dinner.

Met Jonny at the chippy where I snapped this monster of the river.
Then we rushed home to cook the steak before the chips went soggy.

Narrowly averted an oven fire... don't leave the chips in paper if keeping them warm in the oven. No kidding Sherlock!

Jonny surprised me with couple of battered scallops! You can see some in the picture. They were yummy. The steak turned out tender and lovely. The chips weren't soggy at all.

Nekta popped in for a quick visit on his way home from volunteering Joy FM. We pencilled in a dinner for next Tuesday - Nekta is going to the US for 3 weeks. Very exciting.
