The Living Years

It was a Veszprem weekend and it got off to a super start. L met at the bus as always and I wanted a gin and tonic! So we went to a cafe with people (this is amazing for Veszprem, I was convinced during the winter that no one lived there apart from L it was always so quiet!), sat outside and enjoyed a couple of drinks and a not so nice pizza. Then the ominous black clouds started to appear so we decided against going for a walking and heading straight home.

We never made it! The storm started and we found shelter under a bus shelter. We weren't alone there was a young couple who had been on a motorbike so had stopped. There was also an old couple and hence the quote they were happy to have a natter with L. The storm was impressive, hailstones tonnes of thunder and lightning and a river running down the street. Buses kept on stopping thinking we were waiting. When it stopped we said our goodbyes and walked home barefoot (took flipflops off) and enjoyed the freshness of the air and the smell of rain.

Edited because another photo from today reminded me that when we got home, I got a tiny cut on my hand and L bandaged my hand up mummy style, it was too hot to keep on but funny. He always makes me laugh
